This “LONG BOY” cap gun was made in 1922 with a 2-star rating for rarity. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 89 (L12.1.2). This cap gun is 11 inches in length. It is a single shot, single action, which means the hammer must be cocked for each shot. The gun has a cylinder which doesn’t rotate. The word “LONG BOY” is embossed on the left side of the barrel and “MADE IN USA” on the right side of the grip. There is also a small circled letter “K” and a figure of a face on both sides of the grip. 

In good antique condition ☆ mechanically excellent and all the rivets are tight ☆ in original condition with loss to much of the gun's nickel plating

This is a toy cap gun. It cannot be altered to shoot any type of projectile.
